How to view 3D models online

  1. 1Drop an STL, OBJ, 3MF, GLB, or PLY file onto the viewer, or click to browse your device.
  2. 2The model loads in an interactive 3D preview. Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom, right-click to pan.
  3. 3Inspect the geometry from any angle. The viewer runs entirely in your browser.
  4. 4Click Publish to Upfling to host the file on a live URL you can share with anyone.

Supported 3D formats

The viewer handles the most common 3D printing and web formats: STL (binary and ASCII), OBJ with optional MTL materials, 3MF archives, GLB (the self-contained binary glTF variant), and PLY point clouds. glTF with external companions, STEP, and FBX can be hosted on Upfling but are not previewed locally. Files stay under 100 MB for browser preview; larger files can still be hosted and downloaded.

Host 3D files on a live URL

After previewing, click Publish to upload the file to Upfling. You get a subdomain where anyone can view the model in their browser or download the original file. No account required to start.
